Evelyn S. Tinkham, 73, of 134 Creek Trail, died June 3, 1995, in an Edenton hospital.
Mrs. Tinkham was born in Edenton, N.C. She was the widow of Jasper P. Tinkham.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Bonnie T. Huff of Virginia Beach, Betty T. Dougan of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; a sister, Ida Mae Long of Culpeper, Va.; a brother, Fletcher Spruill of Georgia; 3 grandchildren Jill Parker; Ramon Dougan and Courtney Dougan; 2 great-grandchildren Jaye Perry Parker and Jenna-Leigh Parker.
A church service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday June 6, 1995, at Virginia Beach United Methodist Church by Dr. Paul C. Bailey. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 in the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. Laskin Road Chapel. The family will receive friends Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. at 2540 Piney Bark Dr. Virginia Beach, Va., before funeral services.
