James Reginald Turner, 78, of the 4000 block of Valencia Road, died June 2, 1995, in Portsmouth.
He was a native of Suffolk, an Air Force veteran of World War II and Korea, a member of Army & Navy Masonic Lodge (NU)306 and Portsmouth Scottish Rite Bodies and the widower of Marion Louise Turner. He retired from real estate sales.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara T. Cullifer of Portsmouth and Patricia T. Heflin of Norfolk; two sons, James R. Turner III of Chesapeake and Joseph P. Turner of Hawaii; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. T.M. Frye. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and also at 313 Sequoia Road, Portsmouth. Memorial donation may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease & Related Disorders Association, 20 Koger Executive Center, Norfolk.
