Mrs. Sarah Wimberly Shaw, age 95, of Charlotte, former longtime resident of Virginia Beach, died Friday, June 2, 1995, in Charlotte. A native of Houston County, Ga., Mrs. Shaw was the retired Executive Director of Girl Scouts of America.
She is survived by a grandson, John G. Hadgopoulos; great-grandson, John G. Hadgopoulos Jr. and several grand nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. in Harry and Bryant Company Funeral Directors, Charlotte. Interment will be in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. Harry and Bryant Company Funeral Directors, 500 Providence Road, Charlotte, N.C. 28207 is serving the family of Mrs. Shaw.
