ATTACKER SOUGHT

Police are looking for a suspect in the Sunday morning stabbing and robbery of a 51-year-old Hampton man.

Police spokesman Donnie Moore said the victim, whose name was not released, met his assailant in Norfolk. The two then drove to the victim's home on Millicent Court about 6:15 a.m.

There the men began to argue and the attacker stabbed the other man in the chest. He then stole the victim's 1995 black Toyota Four-Runner, Moore said.

The victim was taken to Sentara Hampton General Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

The attacker was described as a black man, about 26, standing 6-feet, 7-inches tall. He had a shaved head and moustache, police said. He was identified only as ``Calvin.''

Anyone with information is asked to call Hampton Police at 727-6111 or Crime Line at 722-9800.
