A 35-year-old Virginia Beach man was arrested and charged in connection with the hit-and-run death of a bicyclist in January, police reported Monday.
Harold H. Harris, 35, of the 2200 block of Elon Drive, was charged in the fatal hit-and-run and auto theft, police spokesman Larry Hill said.
Raymond Ackiss, 46, was killed Jan. 13 when a white pickup moving south on the 6900 block of Sewells Point Road hit his bike from behind. Elvis M. Miles, 37, who was riding on the handlebars, was injured, Hill said.
Hill did not say what led to Harris' arrest.
