Elizabeth Griggs Brady, 77, of 3464 Godwin Blvd., died June 5, 1995.
A native of Nansemond County, she was a daughter of the late Modjeska Alphonso and Grace Taylor Griggs. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Kirk Brady; a daughter, Maribeth B. Zedd of Virginia Beach; a son, Paul Kirk Brady Jr. of Richmond; three sisters, Mildred G. Cross and Barbara G. Griggs of Suffolk, Eloise G. Maciejewski of Brunswick, Maine; and four grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. John's Cemetery by the Rev. M. Webster Maughan. The family will be at the home. Memorial donations may be made to Nansemond Suffolk Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1515, Suffolk, Va. 23439. R.W. Baker & Company Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
