Louise Young Greco, 88, of the 3100 block of Riveredge Drive, died Tuesday, June 6, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Greco, a native of Portsmouth, was a volunteer at Maryview Hospital for 30 years with more than 11,400 hours. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, past president of the Christ Child Society, past president of the PTA at St. Paul's Catholic High School, a member of the Maryview Hospital Auxiliary and the Richard Dale Women's Club.
Survivors include her husband, Benjamin Paul Greco; a son and daughter-in-law, Vincent Scott Greco and Brenda G. Greco of Chesapeake; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Greco Miller and John B. Miller III of Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Marion Evelyn H. Diggs of Mathews County, Va.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Paul's Catholic Church by the Rev. Leo Manalo. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be held at 7 p.m. today at Foster Funeral Home. The family requests that memorial donations may be made to Maryview Hospital Auxiliary or San Lorenzo Spiritual Center.
