Willie Arthur ``Bill'' Jordan, 68, of the 7100 block of University Drive, died June 4, 1995, in DePaul Medical Center.
He was a native of Colerain, N.C., and son of the late Letha and James Arthur Jordan. He was a member of Mount Gilead Baptist Church. He was a heavy duty chauffeur with Little Creek Amphibious Base and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Edna M. Jordan of the home; a daughter, Denise L. Jordan of Chesapeake; two sisters, Daisy Jackson and Pauline Jordan, both of Ahoskie, N.C.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Mount Gilead Baptist Church, 1057 Kennedy St., Norfolk, by the Rev. Raymond Dean. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Riddick Funeral Service. The family will receive guests Thursday at the funeral home from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
