Clayton B. ``Tommy'' Thompson, 78, a retired store manager, died June 6, 1995, in a local hospital.
He was a native of Hertford, N.C., and was a Methodist. He was retired from Priest Electronics. He was a member of the Cape Henry Bill Fish Club and was a Naval veteran of World War II and Korea.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Barnard Thomspon; one daughter, Diane Thompson Walters of Norfolk; two grandchildren, Stephanie W. Davenport and Richard Clayton Walters, both of Norfolk; and two great-grandchildren, Payton Hope Davenport and Hillary Kirsten Davenport.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence. Memorial donations may be sent to the American Heart Association. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel is handling the arrangements.
