Dorothy Glendenning Arey, 85, of the 2300 block of Windward Shore Drive, died June 6, 1995, in a local hospital.
She was a native of Atlantic City, N.J., and was formerly a real estate agent in the D.C. area. She was a member of Bayside Presbyterian Church, Kings Daughters Island Circle, Order of the Eastern Star for 50 years, Bay Island Garden Club, and Tidewater Anglers Club.
Survivors include her husband, William Oliver Arey; and one son and daughter-in-law, Sheldon C. and Frances Arey of Oakton, Va.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, by the Rev. Dr. Richard J. Keever. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
