Grace E. Dunn, 91, died June 4, 1995, in a Roanoke hospital.
Mrs. Dunn was born in Montgomery County, Va., but she lived most of her life in Norfolk. She also spent several years in Eldorado, Ill., before moving to Roanoke. She was the widow of William M. Dunn and was a devoted Christian all her life. She was one of the founders of Gospel Assembly Church. She was the last survivor of 12 children.
Survivors include three daughters, Lyda M. Hightower of Norfolk, Betty J. McLawhorn of Roanoke and Margarete E. Edwards of Charlotte, N.C.; one son, William B. Dunn of Mansfield, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles Henry and Mary Ann McDaniel Gilmer.
You will be always loved, remembered and dearly missed by family and friends.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family invites friends to 5201 Riverwood Road, Norfolk, after the service.
