Thomasine T. Mayo, 57, of the 900 block of Horne Ave., died June 5, 1995.
Mrs. Mayo was born in Portsmouth. She was a member of Centennial Baptist Church, the Senior Choir and Missionaries. She was a lifetime member of the PTA, and member of Tent Lodge (NU)628, American Heart Association and American Cancer Society.
Survivors include her husband, Ulysses S. Mayo Jr.; two sons, Ulysses S. Mayo III and Reginald T. Mayo; five sisters, Olga Garrett, Margaret Woods, Clara Williams, Marion Patterson and Marie T. Ridgeway; two grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Cristi Mayo.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Centennial Baptist Church by the Rev. Robert Addison. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk. The body will be placed in church at 10 a.m. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
