LORI E. KAPLAN

Lori Ellen Kaplan, 34, of the 200 block of 85th St., died June 7, 1995, in a local hospital.

Miss Kaplan, a native of Norfolk, was a member of Congregation Beth El in Norfolk. She was a graduate of Lake Taylor High School and Boston University School of Management. Miss Kaplan was a vice president with Harvey Lindsay Commercial Real Estate Co. Throughout the years with the company, she received the J.W. Gainfort Spirit Award for 1989, the Leasing/Property Management Employee of the Year Award in 1991 and Employee of the Year in 1994.

Miss Kaplan was a member of The Commercial Real Estate Council and the International Council of Shopping Centers. She received the Gold Hampton Roads Commercial/Industrial Council of Realtors Sales Achievement Award for 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1994. She also served on the steering committee for the formation of the River Pavillion at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Survivors include her parents, Roslyn Brown Kaplan and Sol Kaplan of Norfolk; a sister, Janet K. Abraham and her husband, Philip F. of Richmond; a niece, Lauren Rebecca Abraham and a nephew, Benjamin Ellis Abraham, both of Richmond.

The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in Congregation Beth El Temple by Rabbi Arthur Ruberg, Rabbi Israel Bornstein and Cantor Jacob Tessler. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at 210-B 85th St. in Virginia Beach. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
