Robert Suter Bolling, 81, of the 7900 block of Moose Ave., a retired aircraft electrician, died June 7, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mr. Bolling was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and was a member of Azalea Baptist Church. He was retired from the Naval Air Rework Facility after 38 years and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Myrtle J. Bolling; a daughter, Teresa Weatherington, of Chesapeake; two sisters, Wilma L. Hyatt, of California, and Jean Caroline Bolling, of Norfolk; and two grandchildren, Lacy A. Weatherington, of Chesapeake, and Larry E. Weatherington III, of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Dr. Danny Owens and Rev. Jan G. Oberdick. A memorial service will be held in Azalea Baptist Church immediately following the burial at 11:45 a.m. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements. Donations may be made to Azalea Baptist Church Building Fund.
