WHEN A ``POPULAR'' person chooses to wear or do something at Lake Taylor High, other people do the same thing with the hope of being popular, too.
This year, Skully's have caught on with the masses. Skully's are knit, beanie-like hats that come with or without a bill. Usually worn by males, they are actually unisex.
Skully's are worn with almost anything, yet seem most appropriate with name-brand clothing, such as Boss America, Timberland and Polo. They also make a stylish impression when worn with leather.
Skully's, in solids and patterns, can be purchased from most athletic and sporting good stores for around $8.
Skully's have taken off with both upper and lower classmen. They are an inexpensive, hip-hop style. MEMO: Laura Neff is a freshman at Lake Taylor High. ILLUSTRATION: Color photo
