THE LATEST trend at Booker T. Washington High School is a boost to the brain - planners.
And not just any planners. The most popular planners sell for only $3 and are maroon and gold, BTW's colors.
They include a two-year calendar, a daily appointment book, a travel checklist, expense records and tons of places for your own stuff. There is also an address and phone book.
They were sold to raise money for The Clarion, the student newspaper.
Newspaper sponsor June Klag, who is responsible for what she calls ``a great buy,'' says that the planners sold out immediately.
Sophomore Becky Barker has had her planner all semester and says her life is running more smoothly now. About half the students at Booker T. use planners. MEMO: Carolyn Bullock is a sophomore at Booker T. Washington High. by CNB
