WHEN THE BELL rings for lunch, ``The Closet'' gets crowded.
The closet is the tiny office of First Colonial High's gifted coordinator, Juanita G. Felton. It's where students who crave intellectual conversation go instead of the cafeteria.
``I enjoy it a lot because I can speak my opinions without being judged on what I say,'' said Catherine Ambler, a junior and a closet regular.
Every day, the room is full of students who are not only interested in academics but also in art, music and sports. A small group of very good friends has formed during these regular visits. The room might be small but it is a nice place to spend lunch bells and free time in school.W HEN THE BELL rings for lunch, ``The Closet'' gets crowded.
