Joe Rogers, 92, formerly of the 2300 block of Elm Ave., died June 6, 1995.
He was retired from Colonial Stores as a baker. He was the widower of Viola T. Rogers and a member and Deacon of Fellowship United Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Jacqueline A. Howell of Portsmouth; a son, Joseph H. Rogers of Vacaville, Calif.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in Fellowship United Church of Christ by the Rev. Winston Waugh. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family will be at 1663 Darren Circle, Portsmouth. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
