Jean O. Williams, of the 3200 block of Knox St., died June 9, 1995, in Portsmouth General Hospital.
Mrs. Williams was born in Portsmouth. She was the widow of Charles E. Williams Sr. and was a member of Third Baptist Church and the Cheerful Givers Club of the church.
Survivors include four daughters, Jean Clark of Fountain, Colo., Patricia Parker of Dale City, Va., Francine Mason of Ellenwood, Ga., and Denise Drayton of Virginia Beach; two sons, Charles E. Williams Jr. and Steven Williams, both of Portsmouth; three sisters, Margaret Green of Portsmouth, Barbara Flowers of Washington, D.C., and Helen Stokes of Sommerset, N.J.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; a niece, cousins, in-laws and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Third Baptist Church by the Rev. Joe B. Fleming. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will begin at noon Tuesday in Corprew Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
