WILLIAM M. LOMBOS

William Mendoza Lombos, 44, a Navy senior chief storekeeper, of the 800 block of Streamside Court, died June 8, 1995, in New Orleans, La.

Mr. Lombos was born in the Philippines. He was active duty with 20 plus years of service with the United States Navy. He was a member of Bethel Temple and a graduate of Troy State University with a master's in Business Administration, majoring in management.

Survivors include his wife, Lilia P. Lombos; three daughters, Jayenne P. Lombos of Tennessee and Jacquelyn A.P. Lombos and Jeanette A.P. Lombos, both of Chesapeake; a son, Willie P. Lombos of Chesapeake; his mother, Rosa Mendoza Lombos of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Lorna L. Enriquez and Sallee L. Del Rosario, both of Virginia Beach, and Nancy L. Asa of the Philippines; two brothers, Joseph M. Lombos and Fermin M. Lombos II, both of Virginia Beach; and several other family members in Virginia, the Philippines and Canada.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bethel Temple by the Rev. Eleazer A. Tillett. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 16, in Arlington National Cemetery. The family will be at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
