Helen Margaret Lowe, 76, of the 1300 block of Munden Road, died June 11, 1995, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mrs. Lowe was born in Norfolk. She was the widow of William Lowe and attended the Neighborhood Assembly of God Church. She was predeceased by a son, William Charles Lowe and a brother, Buddy Kirby.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Mawyer of Virginia Beach; five sons, Robert W. Lowe, Sidney D. Lowe and James M. Lowe, all of Norfolk and George S. Lowe of California and Richard A. Lowe of North Carolina; two sisters, Edna Post of Newport News and Mattie Kanodle of Pennsylvania; a brother, Bobby Kirby of Norfolk; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Neighborhood Assembly of God, 586 Princess Anne Road, Creeds, Virginia Beach. Burial will be private. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, in charge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
