MAURICE SACKS

Maurice Sacks, age 82, died June 12, 1995, in a hospital.

Mr. Sacks, a retired baker, was born in Lithuania. He was the leader of the Intervale Jewish Center in the Bronx.

Survivors include two sons, Dr. Irwin S. Sacks and his wife, Betty of Virginia Beach and Arthur R. Sacks and his wife, Maryann of Tempe, Arizona; four grandchildren, David and Elisa Sacks of Virginia Beach, Steven Sacks of Arlington, Va., and Jonathan Sacks of Tempe Arizona; two brothers, Edward Sacks and Herman Sacks, both of New York City; and two sisters, Rosalind Grossman and Estelle Feldman, both of New York City.

A funeral service was held on June 14, in Queens, N.Y.

The family request that contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association or charity of one's choice.
