LULA O. WHITE

Lula Overton White, 90, of Mark Drive, died June 16, 1995, in Chowan Hospital.

Mrs. White was born in Chowan County, daughter of the late William and Louisa Bunch Overton. She was the former owner of Lula White's Flower Shop in Edenton and was the widow of Willie White. She was a member of Edenton Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Billy White of Edenton; a sister, Lucille Landis of Compton, Md.; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Evans Funeral Home by Dr. Kenneth Word and the Rev. Jim Hyatt. Burial will be in Beaver Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. White.
