Dorothy E. Reeves of the 400 block of Patriot Lane, a retired medical technician, died June 14, 1995, in a hospital.
Mrs. Reeves was born in Portsmouth and was retired from the American Red Cross. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Portsmouth, Pastor's Aid, U.G. Wilson Usher Board, Martha Chapter Order of Eastern Star (NU)10, Golden Circle and Order of the Golden Circle.
Survivors include her husband, Willie L. ``Bugs'' Reeves Sr.; a stepdaughter, Loretta La Verne Reeves and a stepson, Atty. Willie Lloyd Reeves Jr., both of Washington, D.C.; a brother, Joseph Elliotte of New York City; two sisters-in-law, Eleanor Elliotte of Philadelphia and Ella Elliotte of New York City; devoted niece, Thomazina Mason of Chesapeake; and several other nieces, nephews, god-children, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in Zion Baptist Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. J.L. Roberts. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
