SAMUEL B. BELCHER

Samuel B. Belcher, of the 800 block of Partridge Ave., a retired crane operator, died June 16, 1995 in a local hospital.

Mr. Belcher was born in Norfolk. He retired from Lone Star Co. after 35 years, attended Morning Star Apostolic Holiness Church, was an Army veteran of World War II and the widower of Ovella Belcher.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Brazell and Donna Beckum; and two sons-in-law, Walter Brazell Sr. and Larry Beckum, all of Chesapeake; four grandchildren, Walter Brazell Jr., Anitra Brazell of Chesapeake and Natasha Beckum and Nadia Beckum, both of Chesapeake; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday at Morning Star Apostolic Holiness Church, 909 Hatton St., Norfolk, by Elder William Warren. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Metropolitan Funeral Service. Family and friends will assemble at 822 Partridge Ave., Chesapeake, at 11 a.m. Wednesday for funeral processional to the church.
