Rosa P. Tines, 92, of the 300 block of Avondale Road, died June 16, 1995.
Mrs. Tines was born in Hickory, Va. She was a member, deaconess and usher of Olive Branch Baptist Church and was the widow of Thomas Tines.
Survivors include a son, Ronald E. Tines of Portsmouth; a grandchild, Randi L. Tines of Rhodesville, Va.; two nieces, Marion Artise of Portsmouth and Gladys Warren of Suffolk, Va.; cousins; in-laws; and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Olive Branch Baptist Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. J.B. Sharp. Burial will be in Olive Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at noon Tuesday. The body will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
