Edith Marion Wheeler Pearce, 81, of the 3600 block of Weiss Lane, died Sunday in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Pearce was born in Cambridge, Mass., and was the daughter of the late Harry Edmund and Bessie Lee Pease Wheeler. She was the widow of Chester Arthur Pearce.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Edith Tucker of Virginia Beach; her sister, Olive Doelstedt of Atascadero, Calif.; her two grandchildren, Linda Newell of Chesapeake and Chester Tucker of Virginia Beach and her three great-grandchildren, Johnny Newell, Bobby and Cheri Tucker.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday evening.
