Dorothy Liverman Joyner, 82, of Route 1, a retired seamstress, died June 17, 1995, in Halifax Memorial Hospital, Roanoke Rapids, N.C.
Mrs. Joyner was born in Hertford County, N.C. She was the widow of Hugh Harrell Joyner and was a member of Ashley's Grove Baptist Church, Route 1, Conway, N.C.
Survivors include a son, William R. Joyner of Conway; a granddaughter, Liz Goodman of Roanoke Rapids; and a great-grandson, Joshua Parker of Morehead City, N.C.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in Ashley's Grove Baptist Church, Route 1, Conway, by the Rev. Lonnie Armstrong. Burial will be in Meherrin Baptist Church Cemetery. Garrett Funeral Home, Rich Square, in charge.
