William Henry ``Lil Man Scott'' Scott Jr. of the 1900 block of Robert Blvd., died June 18, 1995, in his home.
Mr. Scott was born in Norfolk County and was a member of New Mount Olive AME Church in Chesapeake and the Progressive Gents Club of Chesapeake.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Velma Scott; five daughters, Patricia Scott, Antionette Barnard, Carla Young and Carol Coe, all of Chesapeake, Celestine Davenport of Virginia Beach; 10 sons, Randolph Scott, Vaughan Scott, William Scott, Willie Scott, Curtis Hill, Kevin Hill, Marvin Hill, Donald Hill, all of Chesapeake, Sterling Scott of Suffolk and Michael Hill of Savannah, Ga.; his stepmother, Julia Scott of Chesapeake; five sisters, Mary Taylor, Cynthia Acevado, Beatrice Fearing, all of Chesapeake, Irene Veale and Sally McCoy, both of Norfolk; a stepsister, Olivia Anthony of Holland, Va.; four brothers, Robert Scott, Hosea Scott, both of Chesapeake, Obie Scott of Philadelphia and Luther Scott of Suffolk; 50 grandchildren; a special granddaughter, Ebony Coe; numerous great-grandchildren; a faithful companion, Alice Hill; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in New Mount Olive AME Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. James Johnson. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will begin at noon Thursday in Corprew Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Friday. The family will be at 4112 Everette St., Chesapeake, and will also receive friends at 1937 Robert Hall Blvd., Apt. 2304, and will assemble there for the funeral service.
