William Henry Gray, 77, of 555 Liberty St., died June 17, 1995, in a local hospital.
He was a native of Pitt County, N.C., and was a retired sexton of the Church of the Good Shepherd.
Survivors include his wife, Mary E. Gray; one daughter, Joyce Ann Cross of Scotch Plains, N.J.; two sons, William K. Gray of Norfolk and Keith M. Gray of Hampton; his mother, Ada Dupree Gray; three sisters, Thelma Grant of Rocky Mount, N.C., Mary Bryant of Chesapeake, and Ada Mae Pulley of Rocky Mount, N.C.; two brothers, Lloyd Douglas Gray of Bronx, N.Y., and Dr. Clayton Gray Jr. of Lake Forrest, Ill.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. There will be an informal wake today from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
