Thelma E. Woodard of the 900 block of Galt St., died June 19, 1995.
She was a member of Greater Metropolitan AME Zion Church and the Usher Board.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Sutton and Gloria Woodard and a son, Roy Woodard, all of Norfolk; three sisters, Jacquline Johnson of Richmond, Va., Carolyn Anderson of Portsmouth and Ann Sennet of Austin, Texas; four brothers, Lester Woodard Jr. and Edward Woodard of Portsmouth, Melvin Woodard of Washington, D.C., and Warren Woodard of Hockession, Del.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Greater Metropolitan AME Zion Church by the Rev. Thomas Tucker. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. A wake service will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Graves Funeral Home. The remains will be placed in church at 9:30 a.m. Friday.
