Owen L. ``Lil-Willie'' Williams Jr., 67, of the 800 block of Lancer Drive, a retired civil service employee, died June 20, 1995, in Portsmouth.
Mr. Williams was born in Camilla, Ga., and was retired from NAS Oceana. He was a member of New First Baptist Church, Taylorsville, Portsmouth, the Male Chorus and Gospel Crusaders.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Williams; a daughter, Felicia M. Pope of Portsmouth; five sons, Ronald K. Williams and Troy L. Williams, both of Portsmouth, Donald E. Williams of Tallahassee, Fla., Kevin M. Williams of Atlanta and Reginald Williams of Norfolk; two sisters, Eva Jordan of Trenton, N.J. and Ester Kilpatrick of Baltimore; two brothers, Charles Williams of Long Beach, Calif. and Ted Williams of San Bernardino, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in New First Baptist Church, Taylorsville, Portsmouth, by Dr. T.M. Steele. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at 830 Lancer Drive, Portsmouth, at 11:15 a.m. Friday for the processional to the church. Serenity Funeral Home is in charge.
