Ada Frances McGee, 70, of the 1100 block of New Market Drive, died June 21, 1995, in a nursing home.
Mrs. McGee was born in Atlanta and lived in Virginia Beach and Norfolk for the past 50 years. She was retired from Virginia Beach General Hospital. She served in the U.S. Navy WAVES and was a veteran of World War II. She was a member of Kempsville Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Samuel E. McGee Jr.; a daughter, Frances Lynne Dail of Virginia Beach; a son, Samuel E. McGee III of Virginia Beach; three brothers, William O'Farrell, Oscar O'Farrell and Charles O'Farrell, all of Georgia; three sisters, Ruth O'Farrell, Martha Childs and Carolyn Lee, all of Georgia; four grandsons, Brian McGee, Kevin McGee, John Dail and David Dail, all of Virginia Beach; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Michael Turner. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is in charge.
