James Coston Spivey III, 33, a subcontractor, died June 21, 1995, in Louisburg, N.C.
Mr. Spivey was born in Portsmouth. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and worked with the Awana Group at the church.
Survivors include a son, James C. Spivey IV of Youngsville, N.C.; his mother, Doris W. Spivey and father, James C. Spivey Jr., both of Suffolk; and a brother, Mark A. Spivey of Chesapeake.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Allen Dooley. The family will receive friends at Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.
