THE AGE OF THE TALL SHIPS

ILLUSTRATION: Graphic

Research by STEVE STONE; graphic by ROBERT D. VOROS/Staff

When the Tall Ships ruled the seas, any child might have identified

a ship with a mere glance at its masts and sails. Today, most folks

don't know a ketch from a schooner. A visit to Town Point Park this

weekend for the launch of Americas' Sail '95 will provide some fun

education - and a chance to meet folks from several foreign

nations.
