LaVerne Goreham Markham, 87, of the 5700 block of Portsmouth Blvd., died June 21, 1995, in her residence.
A native of Yates Center, Kan., she was the widow of Raymond H. Markham. Mrs. Markham was a member of Light of Truth Church of Divine Healing.
Survivors include three sons, Duane E. Markham and Kenneth R. Markham, both of Portsmouth, and Gary W. Markham of Chesapeake; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Meadowbrook Mausoleum Chapel, and entombment will be in the Mausoleum. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements.
