Myrtle Beatrice Barkley, 63, of the 5500 block of Forest View Drive, loving wife and mother, died June 20, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Barkley was born in High Point, N.C., and was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, John E. Barkley; seven daughters, Linda Diane Stevenson, Tina Hazel Ann Shipley, Brenda Kay Nelson, Kathy Sarah Kearns, Tammy Beatrice Davis and Sherry Lynn Kinnaird, all of Virginia Beach, and Donna Jean Pope of Norfolk; a brother, J.C. Baker Sr. of Virginia Beach; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Pastor Chuck Snead. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Davis family residence at 1825 Roves Lane in Virginia Beach. Pallbearers are sons-in-law and Lynn Foglesong. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
