Wanda Sophie Dondero, 71, of Virginia Beach, retired from Star of the Sea Catholic School and Church, died June 23, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Dondero was born in Reading, Pa. She was the widow of Peter Paul Dondero and a member of Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Virginia Beach.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Henry Dondero and Peter John Dondero of Virginia Beach; four sisters, Laura Premici of West Lawn, Pa., Irene DuBoce of Freemont, Calif., Virginia Medlar of Wyomissing, Pa., Gertrude Faust of Reading, Pa.; a brother, Frank Stankiewicz of Reading, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Virginia Beach. Burial will be private. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers. Memorial donations may be made to Cancer Center at Virginia Beach General Hospital, 1060 First Colonial Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23454. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
