Loretta Artis Lewis, 47, of the 1000 block of Minola Drive, died June 21, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mrs. Lewis was a member of Garden of Prayer No. 3 COGIC, Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband, James Lewis Sr.; a daughter, Shuray Lewis of Virginia Beach; three sons, Bernard Artis, James Lewis Jr. of Norfolk and DeShawn Lewis serving in the USMC in California; her mother and stepfather, Verlene and Richard Kelley of Virginia Beach; her father, Henry Grant of Norfolk; three sisters, Juanita Grant of Virginia Beach, Linda Augustus and Mauri Williams, both of Norfolk; two brothers, Martin Grant of Virginia Beach and Ronnie Grant of Norfolk; three aunts, Louise Edwards, Lottie Knight of Norfolk and Queen Sibley of Chesapeake; an uncle, Carvin Edwards of Norfolk; and many other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Garden of Prayer No. 3, Norfolk. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. E.A. Hughes Funeral Home is in charge.
