Charlie H. Brown, 76, of the 100 block of Reid St., died June 21, 1995, in Autumn Care.
Mr. Brown was a native of Nansemond County and was the son of the late Charlie and Mary Mundy Brown. He was retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
Survivors include his wife, Erma Brown; three daughters, Audrey Turner of Virginia Beach, Charlotte Brown and Patricia Brown, both of Chesapeake; two sons, Charlie Brown II of Hempstead, N.Y., and Vernon Brown of Suffolk; several grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Mary M. Eason of Suffolk; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Crocker Funeral Home by Dr. Madison G. Copeland. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
