The firm's name was misspelled and the day was wrong in a photo caption in Friday's MetroNews section. The caption also should have noted that Goodwyn was flanked by Judges V. Thomas Forehand, left, and Robert Carter.
For an accompanying photo showing the investiture of Eileen Anita Olds as a Chesapeake judge, the woman at left should have been identified as her mother, Frances Olds.
The invasion of Okinawa took place on April 1, 1945. A photo caption on Friday's front page had the wrong date.
Virginia Beach Ballet Academy has a performance at 7:30 tonight at Lake Taylor High School, 1384 Kempsville Road, Norfolk. A Preview listing Friday had the ballet group's name wrong.
