Name: Richard Andrew Clutter

Age: 18

Parents: Richard and Sandra L. Clutter

GPA: 4.0

Extracurricular activities: Cross country, indoor and outdoor

track, National Honor Society, Gifted Education Program, and St.

Jude Children's Research Hospital Trivia Bowl Fund-Raiser.

College plans: To attend Virginia Tech's school of engineering.

Career plans: Engineering, but have not yet decided on a field.

Secret to academic success: Hard work and dedication, the same as

it has been for centuries. Just don't forget: It's OK to relax.

Worst habit: I tend to take things too seriously.

Favorite book: ``The Fountainhead'' by Ayn Rand

Favorite TV show: ``Mystery Science Theater 3000''

High school memoir: What a blast I had with all of my friends.

Advice for junior class you are leaving behind: Never think that

someone else will take care of something for you. If you do, nothing

will ever get done.

Person I admire most: My gifted resource teacher, Mrs. Susan

Puckett. She has provided the gifted students at Green Run with a

superb program of field trips and other activities. This keeps her

extremely busy, but she never seems to have too much to do to help a

student out in any way she can.
