Helen Grant Miller of the 700 block of Severn Drive passed away peacefully in her sleep June 21, 1995, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Miller was a native of Philadelphia, Pa., and had lived for the past 13 years in Virginia Beach. She had retired from the Upjohn Company and was the widow of Charles J. Miller. She was an Episcopalian.
Survivors include her brother Joseph S. Grant of Ojai, Calif., her daughter Anna M. Schweitzer of Virginia Beach, and five grandchildren.
Due to the donation of her remains to medical science, there will be no funeral. There will be a memorial service at 7 p.m. Sunday at Old Donation Church and a Requium Mass at St. Marks Church in Philadelphia on July 1. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to the Edgar Cayce Foundation at 67th & Atlantic Ave., where she was a volunteer for several years.
