LOUISE B. HOWERTON

Louise Barham Howerton, 88, formerly of the Fourth Avenue Apartments, died Friday, June 23, 1995, in Greenville, S.C.

Mrs. Howerton was a native of Brunswick County and was the widow of Joseph Randolph (Ranny) Howerton. She was a longtime member of High Street United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Peggy H. Wimberley, and her husband Barry, of Greer, S.C.; one sister, Laeta Hirons of Roanoke; one brother, Emmett DePree Barham of Miami, Fla.; two granddaughters, Kendal and Austin Wimberley.

A graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 1995, at Poplar Spring Cemetery by Rev. Robert Fridley. The family will receive friends at Wright Funeral Home from 12 to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral on Tuesday.
