Frances Y. Wentz, 91, formerly of Oak Grove Road, died June 23, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Wentz was born in Crewe, Va. She was a former schoolteacher in the Suffolk school system, was a member of Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church, former member of Talbot Park Garden Club and was the widow of Walter W. Wentz.
Survivors include a daughter, Frances W. and her husband Earl Jones of Virginia Beach; a sister, Charlotte DeLano of Tullahoma, Tenn.; a brother, T. Oakley Young of Winston-Salem, N.C.; two granddaughters, Kimberly Westmoreland of Virginia Beach and Michelle Le Boffe of Hampton, Va.; a great-granddaughter, Brittaney Westmoreland of Virginia Beach; one grandsons, I. Earl Jones, III of Norfolk; one niece; and two nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Dr. Richard Keever. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday and also will be at 325 Busher Road, Virginia Beach. Memorial donations may be made to one's favorite charity.
