Leona ``Lee'' Alice Ake, 59, of the 600 block of Whitechapel Drive, a homemaker, died June 24, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Ake was born in Abington, Mass. She was a member of Thalia Lynn Baptist Church, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald ``Ron'' Ake; three daughters, Tambry Parnell and Stacey Murrell, both of Virginia Beach, and Krista Hogmire of Portsmouth; two sons, Paige Ake of Virginia Beach and Kennet Ake of Arlington; her mother, Evelyn Burdick, and a sister and her husband, Linda and John Barylski, all of Connecticut; and two brothers and their wives, Dick and Wanda Titchen of Lovington, N.M., and Jack and Thelma Titchen of Huntingdon, Tenn.
A funeral will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, by the Rev. Robert Crute, Thalia Lynn Baptist Church. Burial will be in Quantico, Va., at a later date. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m Tuesday, June 27, at the funeral home.
