Mrs. Helen Hungate Harrell, 73, of 101 E. Camden St., died Saturday, June 24, 1995 in Bertie Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Great Bend, Kan., a member of Cashie Baptist Church and former bookkeeper for Coulbourn Lumber Co.
Survivors include her husband, David Rix Harrell of Windsor; a daughter, Sandra H. Perry of Windsor; two sons, John F. McGonagle of Windsor and David R. Harrell III of Fayetteville, Ark.; and four grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 1995 in Edgewood Cemetery by the Rev. Jack Byrd. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Walker Funeral Home. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the Bertie County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 74, Windsor, N.C. 27983.
