LIGHTEN UP

``Disney vs. history . . . again'' (Daily Break, June 20) is frustrating. ``Pocahontas'' is, after all, a fictional movie. It is based on real life, but people do not need to get so worked up over it.

Think about all the other animated Disney movies. These things could not happen in real life. ``Pocahontas'' is based on a real person, but it is still an animated Disney movie. Disney movies are supposed to be fun and are made for entertainment.

``Pocahontas'' does not need to be totally correct to be a great movie. People do not expect cartoons to be based on fact. If people want to learn all the facts about Pocahontas' life, they should check out a library book.
