Margaret Smallwood, 70, of the 1400 block of Princess Anne Road, a retired machine operator, died June 27, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mrs. Smallwood was born in Cleveland, Miss., and was a Baptist. She was retired after 20 years.
Survivors include her husband, Soloman Smallwood; a son, Anothy Otey of Norfolk, daughter-in-law Yolanda Otey of Norfolk; and three grandchildren, Anothy Otey Jr., Annette Otey and Arinesia Otey, all of Norfolk.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev. Charles Harving. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at the home at noon Monday for the processional to the chapel. Viewing will begin Sunday morning. ILLUSTRATION: Personal photo
