Marie Bradt King, 92, formerly of Jolliff Road, died June 30, 1995, in Portsmouth.
Mrs. King was born in Richmond, Va., and was the widow of Stephan Bruce King. She was a member of Lafayette Presbyterian Church of Norfolk since 1918 and was a member of the Women's Circle of the church.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley King Buchanan of Chesapeake; a son, Donald Bruce King of Easley, S.C.; a sister, Margaret B. Watts of Virginia Beach; a brother, William A. Bradt of Stuart, Fla.; three grandchildren, Sharon Lynn Buchanan of Chesapeake, Beverly Jean Buchanan of Durham, N.C., and Brian King of The Hague, Netherlands; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Lafayette Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Max Culler. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight Memorial donations may be sent to Lafayette Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice.
